I used to get to karate class early after work and just sit in the corner with my eyes closed! After class started, I would get energized! I still force myself to be active (run) when I'm tired and after a few miles, I'm fully awake and good to go! You are absolutely right about how being active will make you less fatigued!

@Dr. J, Thanks for your comments!

Hello everyone,

A friend of mine and a terrific Naturopath, Jill Thomas has written two books, her first one being "Revive, How to overcome fatigue naturally" which I'm sure can answer many of the questions we have at times when we're feeling flat.

Exercise is definitely a key contributor to boosting the metabolism because as we know, energy creates energy.

Another key contributor is getting the right nutrients into the body AND absorbed by the body in order to access the benefits they provide. A great resource to peruse, so have a look!

Stay Well,
Christine

@christinekambo, A fine suggestion....thank you as always!

Great post, Mark, and timely, too! :)

I've noticed that 'energy breeds energy' phenomenon. In fact, I have to be careful not to do too much late at night, because all of a sudden it's 1:00 a.m. and I'm still going strong. (Which wouldn't be a problem except my alarm goes off at 5:00 a.m. *G*)
-------------------------------------
@cammy, I hear ya! I have worked out a bit on the late side and stay up till 1am+ also!
It is tough getting up only a few hours later! :)
