Great exercise Mark.

I do these with both heels on a fitball/balance ball. Then to make it more challenging, I lift one foot off the ball and do them with single leg only. Challenges the core AND the arms!

Mark - thanks for the reminder about this exercise. Used to do it regularly but it somehow left my repetoire. And happy to report that I'm not sore on the day after.

These are simple to do, but very effective exercises for the triceps. I actually have done these, and believe me, you will feel them...a good thing.

peace,

Focusing on triceps is so important! I just started working on my triceps with a lot more intensity about 6 weeks ago, and I've definitely noticed an improvement. When I flex my arms, I have definition at the top AND bottom now...not just my biceps! It's ultra cool. :)

@Zandria, Good for you! Thank you for your input! :)

Great execise and great muscle to train.
The tricep is usually an undertrained muscle due to the misconception that doing curls gives you big strong arms. Not only is the tricep the much more powerful muscle its also much bigger adding size to the arms. Not to mention pushing is usually a lot more useful in the real world and the tricep is instrumental to this movement.

Good Job Mark!
